At Experience Music Project

Seattle rules. There's no doubt after my first visit. I can understand why the locals tell everyone it rains all the time. They simply do not want to share their city with anyone else. From the doughnuts to the scenery, it was all good.

You're out of touch

If I post every four months, I only have to do this three times a year. Nice. Well, May brought April Showers to DC, it rained most of June as well. We escaped to amazing weather in SF for a few days. Here's me and my honey in line at Dottie's.
1/2 of our wedding party lives in the Bay Area, so suffice to say we were around good friends during our visit. Miss you guys! I'm visiting four new states in the second half of the year, so more updates should theoretically follow.

February is real

This week we had quite a warm up which coincided with both of us having the same day off. So we headed into DC for some culture.

Here I go again on my own

The Final Countdown: 90 days until 3-0.

Had a fun time last night celebrating Jenn's 30th at Bourbon. It happened to be exactly 3 months from when I'll be...older. The place was packed--I guess the rain and the recession aren't stopping folks from socializing. This town is about to come alive.

At Home - Portraits

Trying to get this Phlog/Blog off the ground. Spontaneously got out the camera and tripod - must have been inspired by a heady combination of GG and VV. Otherwise known as Gossip Girl and Vinho Verde, the stuff dreams are made of.

First, Nick as the thinker, not the stinker.

Next, we're on to the blur.

And finally, step into the light.

New Year's Eve

Anniversary Portrait

Self portrait

Played around with the point-and-shoot last night. I like that the placement of the light is almost the same in both images.
